Portal 2 Hints
How can I fling myself onto one of the higher floors?
1 of 6: Find the slanty extended wall panel that's directly across from the floor you want to get onto.
2 of 6: Put a blue portal on that panel, then look around for a pit or something to put your orange portal in.
3 of 6: There are some other slanty wall panels nearby, but nothing that looks like you could use it to gain fling-worthy momentum.
4 of 6: But don't forget about that aerial faith plate down in the starting area.
5 of 6: If you put an orange portal on the ceiling that's directly above the faith plate, it would probably hurl you upwards hard enough to fling you onto an upper floor.
6 of 6: Drop back down to the starting area and do that to see that it does indeed work. (Note that if you still have an orange portal above the faith plate from earlier, you can drop through the blue portal to get there more quickly.)
