Portal 2 Hints
How can I get around to where the cubes are dropping?
of 8: On the wall across from you is another large portal-friendly section. How might you use that to get closer to the cubes?
of 8: Remember that you mustn't relocate the orange portal, or you'll lose your connection to the light bridge completely and fall into the toxic liquid. But what if you relocated the blue portal?
of 8: Doing that would relocate the extended bridge section so that it started at the blue portal's new location.
of 8: That will cause you to fall, since the old extended bridge section will vanish. However, if any part of the new extended bridge section is directly underneath your position, you'll land on it instead of falling into the toxic liquid.
of 8: So relocate the blue portal onto the bottom part of the wall that's across from you after making sure that you're in position to land on the new extended bridge. (Quicksave first in case you need to try again.)
of 8: Go to the end of the new bridge, then turn right to find another portal-friendly wall section.
of 8: You'll need to do the "bridge-dropping" routine again by relocating the blue portal to the bottom of that wall section. (Note that you can fire portals straight through light bridges, so there's no need for any tricky positioning.)
of 8: You'll then have a bridge that goes right over to where the cubes are dropping.
