Portal 2 Hints
How can I get the cube onto the big red button?
1 of 7: After returning to the floor near the extended wall panel, look around the chamber until you spot the big red button's alcove.
2 of 7: Relocate your blue portal so that the extended light bridge section will go across to that alcove.
3 of 7: Look up and left from the extended wall panel to find a long row of portal-friendly wall sections that you can put a blue portal on.
4 of 7: Try one of the sections that's over toward the left end.
5 of 7: Go through the orange portal and along the extended bridge to see if you can jump or drop onto the button's alcove's floor. If not, go back and try a new position for the blue portal.
6 of 7: Once it's set, carry the storage cube through the orange portal and drop down to the alcove with it, then put it on the big red button.
7 of 7: NOTE: To leave the alcove, go out onto its ledge, then relocate the blue portal onto any of the portal-friendly wall surfaces that are lower than the ledge so that you can drop down onto the extended bridge. Go through the blue portal, then relocate it onto the wall near the exit door so you can leave.
