Portal 2 Hints
How can I get a storage cube in here?
1 of 11: Try pressing the button on the pedestal that's on the walkway you start on.
2 of 11: As in the previous chamber, that'll cause a storage cube to drop from an overhead tube into the toxic liquid.
3 of 11: You'll need to get a light bridge to extend under the cube tube before you can get a cube.
4 of 11: Look over to the other side of the chamber to find the exit alcove. Above and to the right of that is the light bridge emitter.
5 of 11: To get onto the light bridge, fire a blue portal at the wall that's next to it, then put an orange portal on the wall that's at the end of the button pedestal's floor.
6 of 11: Make sure your blue portal is high enough that you can step (or drop) through the orange portal and onto the light bridge. To make it easy, put the blue portal on the wall section that's directly above the left end of the bridge.
7 of 11: Once on the light bridge, you can optionally investigate a secret area before proceeding with the cube-getting.
8 of 11: Go to the emitter end of the bridge, then look back toward the button pedestal's walkway.
9 of 11: To get back onto it, relocate the blue portal to one of the wall sections that's behind the cube tube and above the walkway. That way, you can go through the orange portal and walk along to where you can drop onto the walkway.
10 of 11: Relocate the blue portal if necessary so that the extended light bridge is directly underneath the cube-dropping tube, then press the pedestal's button again.
11 of 11: If the cube bounces off the light bridge, you can either move the blue portal a bit to the left or right (whichever way the cube is falling off), or you can run down to where you can pick up the cube right after it hits the bridge.
