How can I escape this trap?
1 of 8: You'll need to portal your way out of it.
2 of 8: That seems hopeless at first since all you can reach is your tiny platform, and it's not portal-friendly.
3 of 8: But notice the conversion gel that's dripping down onto a surface directly under Wheatley's monitor.
4 of 8: Also, look to the left of his monitor to see a walkway and a portal-friendly wall surface. How might you use that?
5 of 8: You need to get some of that conversion gel onto your platform so you can portal yourself over to the walkway.
6 of 8: To do that, put an orange portal on the portal-friendly wall surface, then put a blue portal on the surface that the conversion gel is dripping onto.
7 of 8: Right after you place the blue portal, Wheatley will see what you're doing and activate the trap.
8 of 8: Look straight down at your platform right after placing the blue portal. As soon as the platform is painted white, fire a blue portal on it so you'll fall through before the trap is sprung.
