How can I get the Pit Boss achievement?
1 of 3: After portaling yourself onto the walkway, move a short way along it to get Wheatley to ask you to come back.
2 of 3: Turn around and go over to the edge of the broken-off walkway section, then wait until Wheatley asks you to jump into the pit.
3 of 3: Quicksave, then do so. After you die and the game auto-loads the quicksave, you'll get the Pit Boss achievement.
