Portal 2 Hints
How can I get past all the turrets in the next area?
1 of 12: If you look to the right of the turrets' platform, you'll see a large portal-friendly wall.
2 of 12: It's possible to portal yourself onto the turrets' platform using that wall, but you'll always get killed before you can get around behind them. Look for another way to use that wall to get at them.
3 of 12: Look past the nearby steps that lead up to two of the turrets' scanning beams to see a broken window on the wall.
4 of 12: There's a portal-friendly ceiling past the broken window, so put a blue portal on it.
5 of 12: Go back to the doorway that leads into this area, then put an orange portal on its portal-friendly wall.
6 of 12: After dropping onto a small ledge in a defunct test chamber, stand on the big red button to see what it does.
7 of 12: It causes the repulsion gel tube across the room to drip gel onto the portal-friendly floor that's under it.
8 of 12: Move your orange portal onto the floor under the gel tube to get some gel dropped onto your ledge (which will come in handy soon), then turn so that you can see the large portal-friendly wall that's near the turrets' platform.
9 of 12: Put the blue portal on that wall, then keep moving it around until the repulsion gel gets rid of all of the turrets for you.
10 of 12: Use the gel that's on your ledge to jump back through the broken window and drop down back on the walkway.
11 of 12: ALTERNATIVE: Put a blue portal on the wall section that's hanging near the aerial faith plate, then put an orange portal on the ledge's floor so you can drop onto the faith plate's ledge. You can then step on the faith plate to be tossed onto the walkway near the turret platform.
12 of 12: Move along the walkway to get past the turret area and enter the next region.
