Portal 2 Hints
How can I get over to that ledge?
1 of 11: Examine the cracked window to find that some of the glass near the bottom left corner has fallen out.
2 of 11: You can fire portals at the ledge through the window hole, but there aren't any portal-friendly surfaces that you can reach without going through a portal-canceling force field.
3 of 11: That's where the nearby conversion gel pipe comes in. Look for a way to get some gel out of it.
4 of 11: Have you noticed the red button gadget near the cracked window yet? Try pressing it to see what happens.
5 of 11: Look across to the ledge you're trying to get to, and you'll see a large pipe section rotate and drop some explosives onto the ledge.
6 of 11: That didn't do much good, but what if you were able to reroute those explosives so that they hit the conversion gel pipe?
7 of 11: Looking around your room, you'll see that there are a couple of portal-friendly surfaces up on the walls.
8 of 11: Put a blue portal on the top of the wall surface that's directly across from the gel pipe, then fire an orange portal through the window hole so that it forms on the ledge where the explosives hit.
9 of 11: Hit the red button again and stand well out of the way as the explosives get flung onto the gel pipe.
10 of 11: That'll get the floor splattered with conversion gel, so move the blue portal onto it.
11 of 11: TIP: Move the orange portal up onto a wall next to the ledge to make the trip through the blue portal a bit easier.
