How can I get into the excursion funnel that's just past the room?
1 of 8: Notice that it passes over a small portal-friendly ledge.
2 of 8: Also notice that there's a nearby hallway that dead-ends at a portal-friendly surface, and that you can go back into the room you just left.
3 of 8: All of this should suggest to you that you need to use propulsion gel to gain enough momentum to portal-fling yourself up into the excursion funnel.
4 of 8: First, get the hallway that ends at a portal-friendly surface coated in propulsion gel.
5 of 8: To do that, put an orange portal near the bottom of the portal-friendly surface, then go back and put the blue portal on the floor under the gel leak if it isn't still there.
6 of 8: Move the orange portal up and down to get the hallway well-coated, then move the blue portal to the small ledge that's under the excursion funnel.
7 of 8: Put the orange portal at the bottom of the wall, then go to the start of your gel runway.
8 of 8: Run forward and into the orange portal to get tossed up into the funnel.
