Portal 2 Hints
How can I get a bomb through his defenses now?
1 of 7: He doesn't have quite enough shield plates to fully cover himself, so he'll always keep the majority of them between himself and you.
2 of 7: That means you're going to need to use portals to redirect a bomb to hit him in the back.
3 of 7: Since he turns to face you as you move around the lair, put an orange portal on a high-up wall plate, then move around to where he has to have his back to that wall plate in order to face you.
4 of 7: Not all of the high-up plates are good choices for this, since the floor on the opposite side of the room from some of them doesn't have any conversion gel on it.
5 of 7: One of the best choices is the plate that's fairly near the second section of the broken-off walkway. It's above and to the right of one of the two big countdown timers.
6 of 7: Quickly fire an orange portal onto that plate before Wheatley recovers from the second core insertion, then run around to the opposite side of him and put a blue portal on the floor.
7 of 7: Stand right next to the blue portal until the bombs start launching, then move backward to avoid them and to keep Wheatley from turning.
