How can I trap myself?
1 of 6: After placing the cube on the big red button, crouch down behind it so the turrets can't shoot you.
2 of 6: Crouch-walk slowly to where you can fire a blue portal onto the ceiling of the exit alcove, then move the cube off of the red button so the glass barrier will rise back up.
3 of 6: Put an orange portal in a nearby wall, then go through it to drop into the exit alcove.
4 of 6: Since the cube has to be on the button to open the exit door, you can trap yourself by relocating the orange portal to a spot inside the exit alcove.
5 of 6: After GLaDOS lowers the barrier for you, knock over the turrets if you haven't already, then leave the exit alcove.
6 of 6: Note that you can trap yourself again, but that'll just cause the glass barrier to immediately lower. GLaDOS won't have any further comments on the subject.
