Portal 2 Hints
How can I get up to control room #1?
1 of 6: Get onto the lower walkway that starts in the middle of the area.
2 of 6: Follow it along until you reach the bottom of broken stairs that used to lead up to control room #1.
3 of 6: Notice that the wall next to the stairs is portal-friendly.
4 of 6: Put an orange portal on the wall so that you could go through it, then put the blue portal on a spot that's a bit higher than the lowest intact part of the stairs.
5 of 6: Go through the orange portal to drop onto the stairs, then go on up to the control room.
6 of 6: NOTE: You could put the blue portal farther up on the wall so that you can drop onto the control room's roof, then drop from there onto the top of the stairs.
