Portal 2 Hints
How can I get the control rooms connected via portals?
1 of 8: Start by using the above hints for getting into either one of the control rooms.
2 of 8: The wall opposite the button console in each control room is portal-friendly.
3 of 8: Put an orange portal on the wall opposite the console in the control room you're in, then think about how to get to the other control room without relocating the orange portal.
4 of 8: Peek out of your control room's doorway and look over toward the other control room.
5 of 8: Whichever one you're looking at, there'll be a portal-friendly surface somewhere near its entrance. Put a blue portal on that surface.
6 of 8: If you're looking across at control room #1, put the blue portal on the wall above the intact stairs or above the roof. If you're looking at control room #2, put the blue portal on the wall that's just to the left of the entrance.
7 of 8: Go through the orange portal, then drop down (if necessary) to the other control room's entrance.
8 of 8: Go inside and relocate the blue portal onto the wall that's opposite that control room's button console. Now they're connected!
