How can I get over to that door?

  • 1 of 9: Portal-flinging is pretty clearly the answer, so look at what's directly across from that door.
  • 2 of 9: You'll see a small high-up area with what looks like a shack with four lights above it.
  • 3 of 9: Notice that the left part of the shack's slanty roof is bright white and portal-friendly.
  • 4 of 9: What you need to do is put a blue portal on that slanty bit of roof, then find a long drop-off with a portal-friendly floor at its bottom.
  • 5 of 9: TIP: Before you continue, you may want to make some progress on getting the Door Prize achievement.
  • 6 of 9: The lift shaft has a portal-friendly floor at its bottom, so use it.
  • 7 of 9: Since the lift is in your way at the top of the shaft, use the walkway's stairs to go down to the next level.
  • 8 of 9: Crouch-walk slowly up to the edge of the lift shaft, then look down and put an orange portal on the floor at its bottom.
  • 9 of 9: Drop down the shaft to enter the orange portal with enough momentum to shoot across to the pump station door's walkway section.
