Portal 2 Hints
How can I get across the walkway gap?
1 of 8: Look around for some portal-friendly surfaces that you can use to portal yourself past it.
2 of 8: There are no such surfaces visible on the other side of the gap, so look elsewhere.
3 of 8: If you go on past the start of the broken walkway and turn left, you'll quickly come to another big walkway break.
4 of 8: Just to the left of it is a portal-friendly wall section, so put an orange portal on it.
5 of 8: Go back to the walkway gap that you're trying to get across, then look up and to the left.
6 of 8: You should see the top of a portal-friendly wall section on a higher floor behind some railing.
7 of 8: Fire a blue portal onto that wall section, then go through your orange portal to drop onto the higher floor.
8 of 8: Turn left and go over to where you can drop down onto the stairs that are past the walkway gap.
