Portal 2 Hints
How can I get a portal onto that surface?
1 of 7: Since force fields block portals, you'll have to get onto the slanted wall section's ledge so you can get behind the force field.
2 of 7: The only way to do that is to use repulsion gel.
3 of 7: Notice that there's an intermediate ledge that's directly under the force field.
4 of 7: Put a blue portal on the intermediate ledge, then move it somewhere else after a gel glob shoots up out of it. That'll put some gel on the ledge that you can use once you're on it.
5 of 7: To get onto the intermediate ledge, you'll also need a splash of gel on the main floor directly between your floor and the ledge.
6 of 7: Use a blue portal to get that done, then jump onto that gel to get bounced onto the intermediate ledge.
7 of 7: Jump on its gel to go through the force field and end up next to the extended wall section, which you can then put a portal on.
