Portal 2 Hints
How can I do that portal fling?
1 of 8: As in the previous test chamber, you'll use propulsion gel to build up some momentum, then you'll use portals to complete the fling.
2 of 8: You've already got your propulsion gel runway set up, so see about getting the portals in place.
3 of 8: If you'll remember, runway-ing your way over to the central structure caused you to hit its portal-friendly wall section right in the middle. That's obviously where your orange portal needs to go.
4 of 8: However, don't bother putting it there yet. Instead, put it on the wall section that's down on your level.
5 of 8: Look up from there and fire a blue portal onto the wall section that's next to the upper walkway, then go through the orange portal to get up there.
6 of 8: Go around to where you can see the starting area, then relocate the orange portal to any portal-friendly surface over there.
7 of 8: Go through the blue portal to get over there, then hold down the Duck key to stop bouncing if you portaled yourself onto the repulsion gel.
8 of 8: Put the orange portal on the central structure's wall section, then do the runway run again to be flung over to the elevator platform.
