Portal 2 Hints
How can I get to the storage cube?
1 of 13: Look between the starting platform and the exit elevator's platform for a hanging platform that has the storage cube on it.
2 of 13: Directly across the chamber from the hanging platform is a narrow platform that features two portal-friendly surfaces (one of which is slanted) and a red-arrow-marked runway.
3 of 13: You know what that means: gel-and-portal fling!
4 of 13: Put a blue portal on the runway platform's vertical surface, then put an orange portal under the propulsion gel tube.
5 of 13: Wait until the runway is covered with propulsion gel, then go over and try it out.
6 of 13: Relocate the orange portal to a nearby wall so you can go through it, then go down to the start of the runway.
7 of 13: Put the orange portal on the slanted surface that's above the blue portal, then run down the runway and into the blue portal.
8 of 13: Notice that you bounce off of a slanted surface and then almost -- but not quite -- make it onto the cube's hanging platform.
9 of 13: You obviously need to add some more bounce to that slanted surface, which means that repulsion gel is called for.
10 of 13: Portal yourself back onto the runway platform, then put an orange portal on its slanted surface.
11 of 13: Fire a blue portal onto the surface under the repulsion gel tube to get some repulsion gel to fly up onto that other slanted surface.
12 of 13: Put the blue portal back onto the runway platform's vertical surface, then try doing the run again.
13 of 13: This time you'll bounce off of the repulsion-gel-coated surface and land on the cube's hanging platform.
