Post Mortem Hints
How do I get into the meeting hall?
of 14: That doorman seems pretty hard-nosed. I doubt you'd be able to get in with anything less than a signed letter from Gregoire De Allepin himself!
of 14: Perhaps you could get such a letter.
of 14: Or at least forge one.
of 14: You'll need some to help you, who's good at forging things.
of 14: This is Berenice's specialty.
of 14: Ask her, and she'll write the letter based off of the handwriting in De Allepin's letter to Hellouin. (Note: she'll tell you to "come back later," but you can just leave through the front door and come back immediately.)
of 14: Unfortunately, this letter won't get you past the doorman. There must be something wrong with it.
of 14: Maybe you don't have the right handwriting sample.
of 14: Look for another document written by De Allepin.
of 14: You'll find something in his house.
of 14: On his desk, in the room with the planetary display, are some notes on finances. Take a close look at these.
of 14: MacPherson will observe that the handwriting is different from the letter written to Hellouin.
of 14: Go back to Berenice, and get her to forge a letter using the new handwriting.
