Post Mortem Hints
How do I get the tools I need from Hulot?
of 9: You may want to wait until you know you need some sort of tool -- the appropriate dialogue options with Hulot won't be available before then.
of 9: The only tools Hulot can give you are a set of lockpicks. Once you come across a door that needs to be unlocked, you'll have the option to ask him how to get in.
of 9: Tell Hulot that you need to get into a door, and that you don't plan on doing anything illegal. He'll agree to give them to you if you help him with a couple of paintings. You have to find some differences between the two.
of 9: Take a look at the paintings by clicking on them in your inventory.
of 9: Once you find something missing from one of the pictures, click on that thing's location to put a circle around it.
of 9: Talk to Hulot to see what kind of progress you're making. For instance, he'll tell you if you've "hardly found any mistakes at all" or "you're almost there." He may also tell you if you've marked something that's actually correct.
of 9: There are 5 mistakes in all. All of them are items that are present in one of the pictures, and absent from the other.
of 9: Here are the locations of each error, presented one at a time. (Click on the "Error #..." at the bottom of the picture to reveal each individual error.)
