Update Your Game Version
Since the original version (1.0) contained multiple problems, it is very important that you use the Sierra Utilities and update your game. Sierra Utilities was installed on your computer when you installed the game. If for some reason it was not installed, go to the Quest For Glory Web Page and download the patch.

To determine which version you are playing in Windows 95/98, open Windows Explorer and find the folder SIERRA. Click on the + to open the folder. Click on the folder QFG5 to see its contents on the right side. Righ-click on the file QFG5.EXE and then Properties. Select the Version top tab. If the version is 1.0, update your game.
