Mixed Character Classes

  • If you combine your character classes (such as a fighter who knows some magic), things can get a little mixed up in the game.  This can happen if you imported a character from a previous Quest For Glory game.

    For best results, try to remain true to the class you have chosen for your character.  The hints have been written while playing "pure" character types.

    For instance, a fighter will not be able to break into any of the houses in Silmaria even if he has stealth skill.  Your fighter can do some good deeds, but he cannot become a full paladin.  Some of the conversations you have might be misdirected at your "other" abilities.  Solutions to some of the problems and puzzles might be different.  If you cannot find help for the problem you are experiencing, it might be given under another character type.
