Quest for Glory 5: Dragon Fire Hints
How can my thief go in this way?
1 of 9: The way to the roof is a path on the very left side of the fortress.
2 of 9: Figure out a way to get by the outer guards using your special talents.
3 of 9: To avoid being seen, your thief should start sneaking at the pier and continue until he reaches a tree on the very left side of the building.
4 of 9: Hug the rock walls on the left of your screen until you see another row of rocks appear. Cross over and in front of that row, then across the gap and to the far side.
5 of 9: Get atop the tree and then over to the roof top.
6 of 9: The tree is supported by a ledge.
7 of 9: At the bottom of the ledge, use your rope/grappling hook on the tree to climb up.
8 of 9: Sneak to the right, following the path, until you reach the back of the fortress.
9 of 9: Jump over and blackjack any guards around. (Some fighting on the roof may be unavoidable.) The door is nearby.
