How can I safely open treasure chests?
1 of 4: You can avoid or lessen the damage by protecting yourself before you force it open.
2 of 4: Make sure you are wearing all of your armor, have full health and stamina, and have coated yourself with a Fire Protection potion, Resistance spell, and/or Magic Ward spell.
3 of 4: If you continue to have trouble, you may need to improve your vitality and strength so that the trap doesn't do as much damage to you.
