How can I find the engineer that I'm supposed to escort?

  • 1 of 8: He's way down in a sublevel, so you're going to have quite a trip getting to him.
  • 2 of 8: Leave Voss' room and go through the door to the left, which is now unlocked.
  • 3 of 8: After you meet up with Rodriguez and Singer, a nearby door will be opened for you (and locked behind you).
  • 4 of 8: Kill off the Strogg that appear, then find a way to get to the room directly below the one you're in.
  • 5 of 8: At the bottom of the lift, wait until Strauss (the tech in the control room with Voss) opens a door for you remotely.
  • 6 of 8: You'll soon get to a room with a very large locked door on the lower floor that Strauss has trouble opening.
  • 7 of 8: Past the second large locked door, help the marines who drive up kill off the Strogg in the tunnel (or just hide in front of the parked truck while they do all the work).
  • 8 of 8: When it's over, approach Newberry -- he's the engineer you've been looking for.
