Quake 4 Hints
Any tips for the last few combat areas?
of 8: The one past the drop-turret area has several more hovercraft, plus an ugly floating, missile-firing Strogg guy near the exit door.
of 8: You can fight them and retreat back to the drop-turret area when your shields need regenerating, or you can just drive straight on through the area to the huge circular arena without shooting anything.
of 8: In the arena, the door on the opposite side is locked at first, so quickly shoot down the hovercraft and blow up the large round rolling things that periodically stop rolling and start shooting at you.
of 8: When some big, deep voice says something Stroggish, look to the exit door, which will now be open with two of those floating missile-launcher guys near it.
of 8: Head straight out through the door and speed through the next area, shooting only what gets directly in your way.
of 8: You'll soon reach the end of the road, where a flying troop carrier is dropping Strogg troops off.
of 8: Ignore them (or run over some for the fun of it) and find the exit tunnel in the wall to the right.
of 8: Drive to its end to finish the level and start on the Aqueducts Annex.
