Hyperblaster

  • Damage: 14 per blast

    This weapon is similar in nature to DOOM 3's plasma gun, and will probably replace the machinegun as your favorite rapid-fire weapon when you get it. (Of course, the nailgun is a good rapid-fire weapon, too!) The hyperblaster's shots travel a little slower than bullets, but are still quite fast. It's particularly cool when you get a weapon mod that allows each blast to bounce off of something solid. It can be a bit easier to hit an agile opponent by shooting the floor near him and letting the blasts bounce up into him.
