What should I do after my old squad rescues me?
1 of 9: You basically just follow them along for now.
2 of 9: Right after you leave the room you were rescued in, pick up the blaster, shotgun, and grenade launcher from the floor.
3 of 9: Also note that your health is now 125, your new max value! (Your new armor max is also 125 as you'll find out later when you pick up an armor suit.)
4 of 9: After a certain point, you'll be following only Medic Anderson around, trying desperately to find a ride outta there.
5 of 9: After your first ride gets shot down while you watch, head down some parallel curvy corridors to get to a Strogg medbay.
6 of 9: TIP: You can get some more ammo at the end of one of those curvy corridors.
7 of 9: Right after the cut-scene in which Anderson gets nabbed by one of the crazy floating medical guys, you'll have to blow away three of them (I recommend the shotgun).
8 of 9: After they're down, find a machinegun up on one of their medical platforms, then check out the weird little semi-organic console that's between two of the med platforms.
9 of 9: You've seen these in lots of places before, but now you can use the panel on them to regain some health if you're under 125. (Note that you have to click and hold on the panel.)
