Quake 4 Hints
A weak walkway section dropped me into a zombie-filled area!
1 of 6: This happens soon after you make it out of the large room with all the moving machinery.
2 of 6: There's no way to get across the weak walkway without being dropped, but there is a good way to get the drop on some of the zombies.
3 of 6: Instead of going across the walkway, carefully crouch-walk onto the pipe that's just below the gap to the right of the walkway. (Not the pipe you can clearly see farther down, but the one right below the edge of the floor.)
4 of 6: If you move around on that pipe carefully enough, you should provoke three of the gook-spitting zombies into showing themselves without you having to fall down there.
5 of 6: Now you can quickly shoot them from a fairly safe spot, but don't let them get too close or they'll be able to puke on you.
6 of 6: After they're all down, you can drop down and finish off the other zombies in the area much more easily now that there are fewer of them.
