How can I get the dark matter gun?
1 of 11: After you find Lt. Hollenbeck and start on the path toward reactivating the "torso storage devices," you'll soon come across this gun's unusual "storage locker."
2 of 11: You see those four red robot thingies hovering around the gun's force cage?
3 of 11: They're feeding it power, or something like that, so you'll need to take them out.
4 of 11: There's no rush or anything, so just use the blaster to blow them apart one by one.
5 of 11: When the last one is gone, the force cage will open and the DMG (dark matter gun) will be available for grabbing!
6 of 11: However, the moment you do grab it, a huge number of Strogg will appear and attack you. This is to encourage you to use the DMG on them (or to use the "god" cheat, I'm not sure which).
7 of 11: As soon as you get the DMG, run for the one door that immediately unlocks, quickly killing anything that gets in your way.
8 of 11: TIP: If you don't know which door that is, grab the DMG and find out, then restore and do it again, heading straight for that door.
9 of 11: Once in the small room past the door, you can use the lightning gun or hyperblaster to easily shoot down anything that comes in after you one or two at a time, though most of them will probably remain outside so that you'll have to keep opening the door, firing off a few quick shots, and retreating.
10 of 11: TIP: Grenades work great when they cluster up on the walkway.
11 of 11: The door that leads to the exit room will unlock before all of the Strogg are dead, though many of them do have to be killed first.
