How can I get a medic safely to Badger Squad?

  • 1 of 11: After you find them and Sergeant Miller asks you for help, head back the way you came.
  • 2 of 11: Watch out for heavy Strogg resistance in the long colored-pipe corridor. Several will appear at the other end of it as you approach.
  • 3 of 11: TIP: Lead the Strogg that attack in the pipe-lined corridor back to Badger Squad -- they'll shoot those creatures up real good!
  • 4 of 11: Keep going along the only route available until you come to a spot where a marine waves at you and is immediately killed by a berserker that comes through the door behind him.
  • 5 of 11: TIP: You can probably kill the berserker with the machinegun before it can reach you if you start firing at it the second it comes through the door. (Or you can lead it back to Badger Squad, too.)
  • 6 of 11: If you explore around, you'll find that you can't return to the landing area like Sgt. Miller said to, so go through the door the berserker opened for you.
  • 7 of 11: After picking up all the machineguns and clips that are on the floor, move on to the next room and help Medic Anderson (the guy you're after) fight off the Strogg that are attacking him.
  • 8 of 11: Explore the small room the Strogg came out of for more ammo, then head back the way you came.
  • 9 of 11: TIP: After a Strogg grunt breaks up through a floor panel, drop down through the opening to find a small area with some ammo and a suit of armor. To get back up to where you were, use the panel next to the ladder and then climb it.
  • 10 of 11: Continue retracing your steps back to Badger Squad, being careful not to let the Strogg kill Anderson on the way. (If they do, you'll have to restore a save and try again.)
  • 11 of 11: After Anderson helps the wounded marine, another one will open a nearby door for you so that you can continue onwards.
