Quake 4 Hints

I've reached the tram station area, but can't get in through its front doors!

  • 1 of 9: Those doors are locked and blocked by junk on the other side, so forget about getting through them.
  • 2 of 9: First, kill the Strogg who are inside the station by shooting them through the windows (railgun recommended).
  • 3 of 9: Then look around for another way to leave the room you're in.
  • 4 of 9: No, the windows won't do it -- you'll just fall and die.
  • 5 of 9: Find the large open spot in the floor with big colorful pipes running under it.
  • 6 of 9: Drop down there and look around.
  • 7 of 9: TIP: There's some DMG ammo in a nearby crouch-only alcove.
  • 8 of 9: Find the crawlway that leads out to where you can see Cortez ride in on a tram car below you.
  • 9 of 9: Now you just need to figure out how to get to him.
