Quake 4 Hints
What do I need to do as we shoosh along on the tram track?
of 11: Protect the tram from enemy fire.
of 11: This is sort of like when you were manning the machinegun on the lead truck of your convoy during the drive in the "Canyon" level.
of 11: Like then, your own health isn't shown, but instead there's a display at the bottom left corner for the tram car's health (which can regenerate when not under attack).
of 11: This time you'll be facing back the way you came, and that's where all the enemies will be coming from. (Nice of them not to attack from the front where you can't target them.)
of 11: The first two enemies will be fairly slow Strogg fliers, which you should be able to shoot to pieces quickly.
of 11: There are some fast fliers that zoom by too quickly to shoot, so don't worry about those.
of 11: Also watch the two rails parallel to yours for enemy tram cars.
of 11: You can wait until they get close and shoot the enemy that's in them, or you can blast the entire tram car to pieces as soon as you see it in the distance.
of 11: TIP: If there's too much coming at once to shoot it all, then ignore the fliers and concentrate on the tram cars.
of 11: This is a very short level, and is very fun and easy even on General difficulty. You should have no problem with it (except that it's over just when you're really starting to enjoy it).
