Rama Hints

Second London Puzzle

  • 1 of 11: Again, notice the shapes.
  • 2 of 11: All of the pieces on the same row have similar shapes.
  • 3 of 11: For the first row, you're looking for a piece with all circles.  On the bottom row, you want a piece that alternates between circles and squares.
  • 4 of 11: Also, count the number of circles and squares in each row.
  • 5 of 11: There's one fewer circle or square every time you move to the right.
  • 6 of 11: Finally, look inside the inner-most circle or square.
  • 7 of 11: Count the number of sections in the middle of the piece.
  • 8 of 11: It doubles every time you move to the right.
  • 9 of 11: So the top piece should have 16 sections in the middle, and the bottom piece should have 2 sections.
  • 10 of 11: The location of the pieces is given in the next hint.
  • 11 of 11: One piece was dropped by a centipede biot in the Plains; the other is on the first tier of London.  (Or if you failed the puzzle outside of London, the piece will move to the tray at the tent site.)
