How can I get into the giant pit on the second tier?
1 of 9: Walk around to the right side, and you'll see a mantis biot find its way into the pit.
2 of 9: It activates an elevator by shining a red light at the sensor.
3 of 9: You need to do something similar.
4 of 9: You can assemble your own red light.
5 of 9: You should have a plain light from your locker -- it's one of the options of the ISA multi-tool. Press the button on the tool to select the tool's function.
6 of 9: You also need to make the light red.
7 of 9: You should find something red and somewhat transparent when you explore the Central Plains.
8 of 9: There's a red crystal shard next to the warehouse. That's what you need.
9 of 9: Use the crystal on the flashlight, and you can then shine the flashlight on the sensor to raise or lower the elevator.
