I'm in a room with a few computers. What should I do with them?

  • 1 of 9: Take a look at the wall opposite the computers.
  • 2 of 9: It shows you some examples of counting and addition and subtracting in various number systems.
  • 3 of 9: The first room you'll encounter uses decimal numbers (the usual 0-9 digits). Remember what you see on the wall and how the computers in this room works, because you'll see the pattern again.
  • 4 of 9: The leftmost display shows you addition and subtraction, and the rightmost display shows you the various digits in whatever system you're using.
  • 5 of 9: You also need to figure out what to do with the computers.
  • 6 of 9: When you first look at a computer, it will give you a sample showing you what it does.  Those samples pretty much tell you what to do.
  • 7 of 9: The first computer on the left will ask you to copy down numbers.  Just press the buttons on the right of the computer that match the number you're being shown.  After you get a few numbers right, you'll be given access to a lever to open the door at the other end of the room.
  • 8 of 9: The middle computer will ask you to count the number of dots and then enter the corresponding number on the keypad.  Answer a few questions correctly, and you'll get a prize.
  • 9 of 9: Finally, prove you can add and subtract in a number system, and you'll earn a jewel.
