Suggested Order of Play
1 of 4: Unfortunately, you'll run into a timed sequence that is triggered by leaving a certain location in New York. It doesn't matter what you have left to do or what else you've done -- your time limit is the same.
2 of 4: The timed sequence begins when you leave the hidden avian lair.
3 of 4: You should therefore do everything you can in the subway in the human city and the storage room / museum in the octospider city first.
4 of 4: The octospider lair and the big door in the human city cannot be solved until you've been in the avian lair first.
