The Valves Puzzle

  • 1 of 10: There are a number of copper valves scattered about the city.
  • 2 of 10: You will find 3 of them.
  • 3 of 10: They can be turned clockwise or anti-clockwise.
  • 4 of 10: With each turn a musical note is heard.
  • 5 of 10: There are only 3 different notes...
  • 6 of 10: ...low, middle and high.
  • 7 of 10: The location of each valve, and a clue to opening it, are shown on the map on a table.
  • 8 of 10: The valves are depicted as some sort of ancient musical pipe instruments -- each showing 3 notes.
  • 9 of 10: You will hear (and smell) the gas when a valve has been opened.
  • 10 of 10: You have now gone a long way to gaining access to the temple.
