The Puzzle of the Rocks
of 13: After solving the altar puzzle, you find yourself in an area at the back of the temple. Looking downwards you will see a rock with a button embedded in it. There is a strange white symbol painted on the button.
of 13: By taking the path that leads off from here, you can explore the rest of the area. You must look for other rocks with similar paintings on them.
of 13: You will find another 3 rocks with white symbols painted on embedded buttons.
of 13: If you're having difficulty finding them, remember that rocks are on the ground.
of 13: You will always have to look downwards to find the rocks.
of 13: There is also a large rock (without a button) that has a painted white symbol.
of 13: The large rock seems to be blocking a pathway -- so you must find a way to move it.
of 13: The buttons on the other rocks serve a purpose.
of 13: By pushing them in a particular sequence, the large rock will move.
of 13: What do you notice about the white symbol on the large rock?
of 13: It's the same as the symbol on one of the other rocks! (The symbol on the large rock is randomly generated.)
of 13: This is a clue to the sequence in which the buttons must be pushed.
of 13: You start with the rock which has the same symbol. Then MOVE QUICKLY to each of the other rocks. Note: I have tried this puzzle a number of times and it does not seem to matter in which order you do the other rocks -- as long as you start with the correct one.
