How do I defeat the Spanish ships?
1 of 6: Blackbeard will take you to the ballistas automatically after you've saved him.
2 of 6: The ballistas work just like the cannons that you saw earlier.
3 of 6: About the only trick here is that you have to aim fairly high up before you can hit the ships.
4 of 6: Ships that are far away are nearly impossible to hit, since you have to angle so high up that you can't really see through the ballista to judge your aim.
5 of 6: But if you wait a bit, the ships will get closer to shore.
6 of 6: And then, they should be easy to hit. After you've sunk a few, Lyle will come in to help you with the rest.
