RHEM Hints

I'm at the entrance to the main tank, but the door won't open!

  • 1 of 17: Notice the control panel next to the ladder that leads up to the tank's door.
  • 2 of 17: It has a large button at the top with the main tank's design on it plus three small colored buttons beneath it.
  • 3 of 17: Start by pressing the large tank symbol button.
  • 4 of 17: A buzzing sound will start up, and the number 0 will appear above each of the three colored buttons.
  • 5 of 17: You can now press the red, blue, and yellow buttons to cycle through the digits.
  • 6 of 17: You need to enter the correct three-digit code and then press the tank symbol button again in order to unlock the main tank's entry door.
  • 7 of 17: The answer to the code is actually inside the main tank, and you need the code to get in there!
  • 8 of 17: This sounds like another brilliant screw-up in puzzle design, but it's not really.
  • 9 of 17: Didn't you realize you were walking over the main tank as you entered the water tank area and made your way to the ladder leading down to the ground floor?
  • 10 of 17: Try going back up that ladder and across the main tank again.
  • 11 of 17: You'll find that you can't exit the water tank complex unless the main tank is full.
  • 12 of 17: Also, you'll find that you can look down and see into the main tank from up on top of it, though you can't enter it from there.
  • 13 of 17: Look down to see three numbers on colored backgrounds.
  • 14 of 17: There's a yellow 9, a red 1, and a blue 5.
  • 15 of 17: So go all the way back to the panel next to the main tank door and enter those numbers.
  • 16 of 17: Press the tank symbol, set the red counter to 1, set the blue counter to 5, set the yellow counter to 9, and then press the tank symbol again.
  • 17 of 17: Now you can climb the ladder and enter the main tank.
