How do I figure out that code?
1 of 9: It's related to the symbols you were messing with.
2 of 9: As you recreated the two symbols on the locked door with the light gray areas, you were also creating a four-symbol set in dark gray.
3 of 9: So now pay attention to the dark gray symbols. (Here's the picture again if you need to refer to it.)
5 of 9: In order to find the translation key, you need to figure out how to restore power to the elevator in the Four Way Tower and use it to get to the tower's top floor. Once there, use the printer device to print out a code list. See the Four Way Tower hint section for details on doing that if you need to.
6 of 9: Once you have the printout of the symbols, notice that they look like the symbols you can get on the nearby console, and that the digits 0 thru 9 are printed under some of them.
7 of 9: Mentally divide each symbol on the printout in half vertically to form two separate symbols.
8 of 9: Do that with all of the symbols that have two digits below them in order to figure out how the individual symbols translate into digits. The graphic below shows one example.
