RHEM Hints
What does the center panel do?
of 9: Click on it to open it up.
of 9: Notice that it has one button beneath its digital display.
of 9: Try pressing the button and waiting to see how the display changes.
of 9: Have you figured out how the basic mechanism in the Round Building works?
of 9: This panel is the other way (besides the buttons near the four lower-level outside doors) to rotate the big walkway mechanism inside the building. Matter of fact, you can rotate it into any possible configuration from here.
of 9: However, only two of those four configurations will allow you to leave the control room.
of 9: Namely, the two in which one part or the other of the L-shaped walkway mechanism is pointed toward the south (down), as in the following sketch of the panel.
of 9: Note that one part of the rotating walkway mechanism has a ladder to allow access to the lower door, but the other part does not. For example, in the configuration shown in the picture above, you can access the upper and lower east doors, but only the upper south door (the one that leads to the control room).
of 9: The other configuration that allows you to exit the control room via the Round Building is the next one, in which you can access both upper and lower south doors plus the upper west door.
