A NOTE ABOUT THESE MAPS
The two region maps (blank and annotated) are my own freehand sketches based solely on my explorations, and are as simplified as I could make them without leaving anything important out. I paid less attention to making everything proportional and putting it in its exact right place, and paid much more attention to making it easy to see what all major areas there are and how they're connected. More detailed maps of some of the individual regions are available as separate graphics.
I did it this way because all of the highly detailed maps (such as the one on page 6 of the manual) were too confusing to me to use very much. Of course, my maps may be the same way for you! If so, you need to sketch your own maps as you explore. That activity is what really helped me to understand how all of the areas interconnect. Once I finished drawing my maps, I was so familiar with every region that I hardly ever referred to them.
NOTE: I included a blank version of my region map in case you want to print it out and make your own notes as you play instead of using my annotated region map.
