How can I use the elevator tower that's right next to the square building?
1 of 10: Take the path that goes east around the square building and up to the elevator door.
2 of 10: Then press its button to open the elevator door.
3 of 10: If this is the first time you've attempted to use this elevator, that won't work.
4 of 10: There are two sets of elevator doors on the tower, and the elevator has to be rotated to work with one set or the other.
5 of 10: And guess what? It starts out being rotated to work with the other!
6 of 10: The other elevator route has to do with getting to the simulation control area. See the following link for hints on how to get there, paying special attention to the hints about the elevator tower.
7 of 10: Those hints don't mention it (because it isn't necessary in reaching the simulation area), but when you exit the elevator tower at the top, you'll find a special rotate button next to the door.
8 of 10: Close the elevator doors and press the rotate button to get the elevator rotated so that it can be entered from the door near the square building that you tried earlier.
9 of 10: Of course, now you have to get back around there without using the elevator, and the only way to do that is to continue on to the Simulation Control area and figure out how to get from it across the rotating bridge and back to the Round Building. Once you're back in good old Roundie, you can find your way to the Four Way Tower and on to the square building and elevator.
