RHEM Hints
How do I run the little monorail car?
of 16: Enter it and look around for controls.
of 16: There's a panel just left of the front window that has a power button and up and down arrow buttons on it.
of 16: If you're in the station on the south side of the short monorail track, press the power button and then the up arrow to travel to the other station.
of 16: Then press the power button again to turn the power off.
of 16: Now, you'd think that to get back to where you started, all you'd have to do is press the power button and then the down arrow button.
of 16: But that doesn't work!
of 16: The monorail car is straining to go back along the track like you told it to, but something's stopping it.
of 16: Leaving the power on, get out of the car and walk around to the front of it.
of 16: See that big metal pin with a handle on it? It's holding the monorail car in place.
of 16: Click on it to send the car back to its southern station without you.
of 16: To get back there yourself, follow the walkway that leads SE from the pentagon-shaped building. Unfortunately, when you arrive at the monorail station, the monorail will be blocking the door that you need to go through.
of 16: So you'll have to try something else.
of 16: Go back to where you released the monorail by lifting its restraining pin.
of 16: Look at where the monorail was to find a small circular hatch with a ladder leading down underneath it.
of 16: Go down that to end up in a canyon path split just a short ways to the east of the monorail station.
of 16: You can now explore the path to the north or head south to find a small building you can go through to return to the starting (SE) part of the pentangle complex.
