Rhem 2 Hints

How do I operate the rotating walkway?

  • 1 of 11: When you first encounter it you will only see a red ladder leading up to a square blocked by a grating. If you already rotated it you see a wall blocking your way or a hole leading straight ahead (either connecting east and west or north and south).
  • 2 of 11: This is the "rotating walkway" on the map. (See Annotated Map of Part 1.)
  • 3 of 11: To locate it, follow the train trails from the starting point backwards to the first intersection. There turn right and immediately right again. Follow the path until you enter the next door and turn right after that again. You will reach it from the western side.
  • 4 of 11: Look around near it.
  • 5 of 11: There is a round button, so press it.
  • 6 of 11: Now press the small square button that appeared from above. This one will rotate the walkway.
  • 7 of 11: After you pass through the walkway to the eastern side, turn around. There is another button for rotating the walkway from this side.
  • 8 of 11: This button can be used to rotate the walkway so that the ladder appears here. Now you can climb up where there's no grating.
  • 9 of 11: To rotate that walkway from above, you need the button you ordered down before.
  • 10 of 11: Go back to the first button and press it again to send the square button up again.
  • 11 of 11: For the north-south connection rotate the walkway, bringing the ladder under the northern hole. You will find another button to rotate it downstairs on the northern side.
