Rhem 2 Hints
General Hints
1 of 5: First of all: Look in every corner; that does not only mean all 6 sides of the cube (in front, right, back, left, up and down) but also every single hotspot (recognized by a change of the mouse cursor).
2 of 5: Use every switch, button, or slider at least once. Most of the time this will do nothing, as you often have to solve specific puzzles to activate these switches, but if it does something, you get audible feedback to tell you about that success. If a button, switch, or lever has a LED attached to it, and you turn it green, leave it on the green state.
3 of 5: Have enough paper and pencils ready, so you can write down anything that looks like it could be a hint. Even if something doesn't seem to make any sense now, it could be helpful later.
4 of 5: If you find any window shutter down and expect some hint beneath it, find the button that activates it. Those buttons have a red LED that turns to green when they are activated.
5 of 5: Try to keep your bearings straight and have a good sense of direction when wandering through this cave! Sometimes, that's the only way that you really find the right button for the right device. Also follow wires -- even through walls -- to find the right buttons. If possible, draw a map on your own; your compass will help you. You will find a map for Part 1 in the game, but this doesn't show buttons or puzzle positions.
