How can I open the metal elevator door west of the big gate?

  • 1 of 3: You can't, but Kales does.
  • 2 of 3: He won't open it for you as long as he is in his room, so you must wait until he leaves.
  • 3 of 3: To make him leave, enter Rhem. When you come back to this area, the elevator door will be open. (See Can I come back to this area once Kales let me in? for more hints.)
