How can I reach that balcony?
1 of 6: The balcony is part of a corridor from east to west.
2 of 6: The door on the western side is fixed by hooks from both sides, so find a way to reach it from the east.
3 of 6: Although you should always think in 3 or more dimensions in this game, this time it would help to think in only 2.
4 of 6: Think where that corridor crosses the paths you already know.
5 of 6: After entering the building behind the northern door of the 8-lamps room, before going into the lit area, search the right and left wall.
6 of 6: Look up that wall and you see latches on both sides. Use them and ladders come down to enter that corridor.
